(False Positive) Win32:EVO-Gen found in Daum PotPlayer 1.6.50945 Update!

Hello,

I use a wonderful media player called Daum PotPlayer and they release updates daily. And Avast is blocking the latest version 1.6.50945 and says it has Win32:EVO-Gen (Susp). This is becoming a very popular media player and has always been very clean of any virus. So this must be a False Positive.

I have actually noticed with most potplayer updates Avast never complains but once in a while Avast reports that Potplayer has a virus and will not let me download it.

Can you guys fix this please?

But Avast should not be Suspicious of Potplayer

Also I sent an email to Avast.

How long does it take took usually fix these False Positives?

Because another version was released 1.6.51015 and that to is being blocked by Avast

I'm telling you guys Potplayer is clean!
