False positive

I'm getting problems with Avast blocking No-IP DUC40.exe. On the on hand, avast says it's infected but I have run a scan and Avast doesn't flag it as infected after all.
This is blocking my remote access to my security camera and the repeated warnings are driving me mad.

Report it to avast with as much details as you can.

Sorry for hi-jacking the thread. Today Avast flagged the VLC Media Player's uninstall.exe file as malware. It has to be a FP and I know that the Avast team will fix it soon. I'm writing this just so nobody freaks out when they get notified of a "virus" on their computer.

Same here. I've reported it as a false positive from the warning that pops up, and I've also created an exclusion for it, but to no avail. Every 5 or 10 minutes it pops up again. Very annoying.

what does avast say? ....you may attach a screenshot
have anyone check the file at
www.virustotal.com
is it when you download or run?
if download be aware that some of the downloaders may contain PUP
filehippo VLC downloader (not the VLC program)

Scanned the un-installer with avast and nothing suspicious was found.
