I just reinstalled avast on my laptop and have it working alongside malwarebytes to help clean and protect my PC. I feel like it has only made things worse. I constantly receive popups indicating a malicious website tried to access my PC and was blocked. CONSTANTLY. It doesn't seem like avast is actually doing anything to neutralize these threats, it just keeps telling me it is there. The notifications are so frequent, it disrupts my ability to browse. Additionally, I sometimes see some of these "malicious sites" I was supposedly protected against showing up in my frequent places on IE. I'm really losing my mind with this. Is there a way to actually fix this issue and stop all the popup notifications?
