avast! windows are pop-up when is scanning...

Please, I do not know how to stop windows from pop-up in my desktop when avast is scanning...like: " avast!on-access scanner message".
Do you know where I should go into avast! antivirus in order to cancel this function?

It would help if you said where this window was and what it said.

I have however a sneaking feeling you may have been tweaking the avast settings and it is this 'Show detailed info on performed actions' which is not enabled by default.
