updating error for free version
« on: September 05, 2005, 11:20:56 AM »
getting an error when the program tries to update.

It says:

 - your system time/date has changed; fix it and enter the license key again

Yes the date/time has changed, but since this was the free home edition, I don't have a product key.  What do I enter?

Get the free key for the home version from Avast's website.

If your system time/date changes, it could be time to replace the cmos battery.
