Well, I believe they well deserved it... no one would give such a huge amount of money if they didn't think GriSoft is good enough.

Of course, their AVG's GUI looks really ugly, but with a touch of a good graphic designer they can make a hell of a good application. Right now, it doesn't look professional, and in the same time it doesn't even look "gamey"... it looks like those old applications from Windows 3.11 which is just a drawback in my humble opinion...

Hope Alwil have such a money support to get even better...

But avast motto is we shall fight them all, avast will not kneel, no one will make avast submit, its beating nortons, why some of them are being taken is because they don't have loyal fans.
Avg saids it all promises all then don't perform.

AVAST LIVE FOREVER, avast sell out whoever buys it would ruin it.
