HELP! GrimeFighter disabled my WiFi connection
« on: December 07, 2014, 09:55:24 PM »
Hi,

I have purchased GrimeFighter a few hours ago and since then my WiFi connection is not working any more.
I tried what I can do, but nothing helped. Connection with wire and restart WiFi router did not work for me.
Does uninstalling GrimeFighter get WiFi work? but I do not even find GrimeFighter in"Uninstall or change a program" of Control panel.

Please provide solution for get WiFi work again asap.
Also I would like to request refound the product.
Thanks.

Run GrimeFighter again tell it to undo the changes it made.

Hi,

Thanks for your info.
I'll try this, but I'm not sure if I can run this program again.
So, it means there is a option to cancel in the menu, have you try it?

No, there is no option to cancel.
There is a option to undo the changes.
Use that and everything should be back to as it was before it made the changes.

Hi,

I reinstall the software, but I didn't find any "undo the changes" option button or so during the installation..?
Could you tell me exactly in which stage of the installation there is unchange option to choose?
thanks.

If you "reinstalled" it means you removed the restore points that where created.
Only thing you can do now is to manually setup the wifi connection again.

So, I made a mistake...
I have two questions:
1. This GrimeFighter I installed, this one can do "undo change", isn't it?
Could you tell me how to Run GrimeFighter again?
2. How to set up wifi connection manually? At the moment ,WiFi is disabled by the software. How could I enable it?

1)
As far as I know, it is not possible to undo the changes a previous GrimeFighter made after you reinstalled it.

2)
Run the windows network setup.
It may work, if it doesn't you have to do it manually:

Hi,

I have tried manully to get connection back with the links you have provided, but it did not work.
It always come to the point that "wireless capability is turned off".
I looked at Device Manager, WiFi Adapter is working properly, so hardware is working ok.
Could you explain how can I turn wireless capability on? It may fix the problem.

Hi,

I have updated the wifi adapter's driver, but it didn't work.  Device status of the adapter property says:

*************
Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)
*************
Do you agree that GrimeFighter have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software ?

I know, there are lots of information on the web, but you don't know always which one is good for you.
I'm looking for the exact information for my problem to fix which GrimeFighter team must know.

I placed a refund order a minute ago.
At the moment I don't know what to do with my problem...

Hi,

I have reinstalled Windows UI and it's working now.

Thanks for your comments, anyway.
I'm interested in if your software really fix all connection problems, maybe if I get another problem then I'll try that.

Glad your problem is solved. It isn't my software. It is a tool I've used on several occasions. :)
