What would be the proper way to avoid False Positives when a visitor/customer wants to download my software from Meshingwithgears.com website?

My software packages 2 exe files and other files in NSIS open-source installer, which is an .EXE file. Scanning the installer says "no threat found" but downloading will not pass the Avast! sniff test - it tells the visitor that my site is tainted, doesn't it?

Is there a certification, etc. that Avast recognizes that avoids false positives? I've tried a download site (Media Fire) that suffers the same rejection...

There is no way to avoid (possible) false positives.
Just report them through the contact form on the website.
