Virus stops scan
« on: September 13, 2005, 01:25:58 PM »
Hi All

Is there any way you can set Avast so that it uses it's 'common sense' and decides it's self on what to do if it finds a virus while scanning ?

It takes so long to scan that you start it off and then 'go out' come back only to find it had found a virus (good thing!) straight away and 99% of the scan is still left to do.

If not it would be nice just to have the option !

Regards
Andy  ;D

Of course there is a way - and it's a very simple one: Buy the Pro version  ;)

Like Spyros said, the Pro version is fully automated.
Search the board for Silent Mode and you'll find how far you could get with Home (free) version.
