« on: December 30, 2014, 09:31:58 PM »
hi,
there is a new accessibility issue that has appeared in version 10 and above
this issue still exists in the latest stable avast
steps to reproduce
1. open the avast gui
2. try to close the gui by pressing alt+f4
in this situation, nothing happens
this issue exists in windows 8.1 64 bit
this issue still exists after uninstalling avast with aswclear and reinstalling it

I just checked it on my systems:
Windows XP SP3 (Avast IS, 2015.10.0.2208)
Windows 8.1 x64 (Avast Premier, 2015.10.0.2208)

Open Avast UI -> Alt+F4 -> Avast UI closed normally

If it matters, I use Ctrl+Shift for language switch.

hi,
alt+f4 fails when I open avast through the system tray
aditionally it might have to do with the fact that i'm using a screen reader

I have windows 8.1 64 bit and can't duplicate your problem.
I am not using a screen reader however.
Have alerted a Moderator to this Thread. Maybe Avast can add something to this.
