Sometimes file cant be quarantied, it may delete if not able to quarantine.

I did not realize that Avast deletes suspected files it cannot quarantine.....in some sense I can see why but I also can see how dangerous this would be.
To the OP.....you could use a util to "undelete" the file......there are tons of them.
I'm not recommending but these two are listed in top of these type utils
