Alice Programming software executable file triggering malware
« on: January 07, 2015, 06:47:00 PM »
Hello,

I have a teacher here that teachers programming and uses a program called Alice Programming.  The alice.exe file is triggering malware.  I have sent it to Avast through the Virus Chest a few times saying this might be a false positive but have not hear anything back and it still triggers it.  I ran the file through Virustotal.com and out of the 54 A/V vendor software Avast is the only vendor that triggers the file as having malware.  So that is why I am thinking it is a false positive.  Avast does not trigger malware in slowandsteadyalice.exe only alice.exe.

Has anyone used Alice Programming and Avast together?
Thanks,
Andrew
