When I run a complete boot scan using Avast Free, the report almost always shows some files MOVED to the CHEST and then some files are left alone with an error message of "insufficient disk space".  All of my disks and partitions show plenty of space (smallest amount of unused space is 40 GB). Or is the insufficient space really insufficient RAM space?

So how do I get the scan to treat these files and rid my system of them?

Fred

I'd say it's related to the setting of the maximum size of the Chest.

Why are you running a boot scan? Did your avast recommend running a boot scan after a regular scan finished?
