Crazy Download Behavior

If anyone from Avast is reading these posts, I downloaded Avast Free, and I know that it's tacky to complain about anything that's free, but you really have to have a standard Windows "Save Link As" window instead of just plunging ahead and downloading the program into some wacky random folder somewhere that I have to use Search to find.

Are you using Firefox or Google Chrome. Each of these browser has a setting of whether or not you want to run the file or download it and where you want to download the file i.e. desktop or other places that you want the file to be.
