This forum is about the website https://my.avast.com
Next time please post in the correct forum.

To get a refund you will have to submit a ticket:
https://support.avast.com/

But why not post in the correct forum and ask for help?
Very likely the problem(s) can be solved.
E.G. If you haven't removed the av that was on your system completely before installing avast.

Why has no one contacted me about my refund request. Avast automatically withdrew money from my account without my knowledge and I would like to get it back.

calihearts2007,

before posting please do some (re)search and read.

This forum is about the https://my.avast.com website not about payment issues.

As has been explained many times...
You agreed to auto-renewal that is why the money was withdrawn.
If you did not wanted that to happen, you should have disabled it.

I am in a similar position.  I installed Avast Internet Security on my Windows 10 machine and have had so many problems since.  I have now removed Avast and my PC is happy again.  I have requested on numerous occasions (by raising a ticket with Support) for a refund but there is total silence from Avast.  Nothing short of absolutely poor customer service, bordering on fraudulent.  Avast, how about answering my ticket (#47545) and give me my money back.

I used to love Avast, that has completely turned around now with this experience.

That is the problem.
Each time you submit a new ticket or change one, you will be put back to the bottom of the stack as it is a FiFo system.

And why not having tried to solve the problems with our help ?

I cancelled my renewal for avast in November and received a confirmation email back to say the renewal would not take place. Then they went ahead and renewed it and took my money!! Can I find a phone number to use from the UK and they have not answered my ticket sent two weeks ago. Rotten service. And the letters shown below are to verify are a nightmare to read.

The captcha is there only the first three posts.

Could it be you have registered more than one license ?

If you mention the ticket number here, it may speed up things.
