Bob, did you ever used Maxthon? Can you compare it to GreenBrowser? Thanks.

I used to use GreenBrowser and it seems it's a pretty good browser loaded with bunch of features, except I had some sudden random GreenBrowser crashes without any visible reason. Same thing happened with Avant Browser. I also tried Enigma Browser and Slim Browser in the past, but nothing ever worked as good as MyIE2 worked on my machine. Of course MyIE2 is known as Maxthon Browser now.

Never ever had any problems with Maxthon in the past and it seems like a really stable browser.

I'm sure GreenBrowser works perfect for Bob since I've noticed he is using it pretty long time by now, but I just wanted to add my two cents worth comment. Maybe you Tech will experience similar problems like I experienced, and maybe not... I guess you have to try it to be sure. But one think I know for sure, and that thing is... Maxthon never ever crashed on my PC, loading pages really fast, and it's nice (very light btw) interface helps it stays very attractive for the eye.

Cheers !

Same experience of mine. But could be a coincidence.
Another reason to not use it is the language (GreenBrowser does not have a Portuguese interface, or better, did not have... I don't know now).

For me the same.

Tech I dont know if you would be interested, but they have an english version that is made to be translated. If you want, you can make a translation and send it in for all your Portuguese speaking brothers and sisters.

Also, Sasha is the only one who made those nice animated icons for your ABOUT THE TWEAKER section, and logo which suppose to go on the main window  ;D ...

I don't know, but I guess since you revealed your little secret, I guess we can show them how your tweaker logo will look like...  ;D

???
Nobody ever had to pay for Opera...

And nobody ever had to have annoying graphical ads...

All anybody had to do was select the TEXT ads which are hardly annoying or any different from any website...

I think its the fact that the ads were forced. Text or not.

A Pop-Up ad is forced - not what Opera had...

I don't follow this. I'm with Darkparrot's opinion. A banner is an ad and an ad is always forced.
Opera is better now. They were losing market and have to change it.

Does all of this really matter? Talking about what used to be, has no bearing on the current or future status of Opera.
It is now free of ads and FREE for all who want it to use. ;D
