I bought granddaughter and installed it since last night it has completely taken over my laptop and I cannot access the internet at all. If I try to stop it, it simply closes down the laptop and restarts when I turn it back on. I've tried looking for it in programs to see if I can uninstall it but cannot find it.  HELP!!!

It is not in programs but in the avast features.
Control panel > software > avast > change
