boot scan

did boot scan on my laptop when it  finished I could not boot pc up.had to re install windows...has any one else had this. am thing of leaving avast.

Without further info, it's impossible to answer this.

Such as did avast actually alert on any files, file name, location and malware name given, etc.

Also what operating system and avast version.
