Date Format in Message Tag
« on: September 15, 2005, 04:57:30 PM »
Hello,

Here below is the tag attached to my outward message.

Obviously, two different date formats are used in the information of "Virus Database" and "Tested on".

Any idea to make them consistent in terms of format?  I would prefer to use the dd/mm/yyyy (or dd/mm/yy) format.

That's strange.
Different pieces of code are used for the two date fields, but I'd say they should be equivalent.
What is your operating system, its language version and regional settings?

Hi Igor,

My machine runs on Win98, English version, with regional setting of English (United States) and date format of dd/MM/yyyy.

Regards,

Do you mean the "Short date style", or "Long name style"? (that is set to dd/MM/yyyy)
Thanks!

The latter, ie, dd/MM/yyyy.

Thank you.

It seems that the two pieces of code do not return the same thing after all.
I'll see what I can do about it.
