Scheduled Scan Time Problem
« on: February 04, 2015, 06:55:39 AM »
Anyone else having a problem with a schedule Avast Scan running at the wrong time?

I'm using Avast Internet Security, Win 7, yest the time is right.  It's set to scan every day at 4:00 am.  It's scanning on it's own about 8 pm (20:00 military time) each day.  The scan is slowing my laptop down enough that it takes 1-2 seconds to respond to the mouse or a key press.  Anyone else having this issue?

You can try to compare the scan time with GMT time.
Reply here if they are equal.

Yes, it's happening here for me at Windows 8.1 GMT -3 DST.
Hope they take a look on what is happening.

Thank you L3.
For the record I did multiple searches prior to posting and that didn't come up.

How bad is it that Avast does use the PC time or at least CLEARLY state it's using GMT???
Avast you are failing on soooo many level right now.
