Many Avast Antivirus Updates (32) bit in Task Manager.

I have a lot 50+ Avast Antivirus Update (32) bit jobs on my Task Manager.
I cannot remove them.  Does anyone know why this happening.
How can I delete them When I try I get access denied

Running Windows 8.1

Update to the latest version and see if the problem is solved.
You may have to reboot 2-4 times.
