I keep getting this blue screen with this on it

Date stamp 42cf96d4
 can not get to windows xp with out getting this notice
would appreciate any help on this

Are you using any other antivirus in your system?
Which version of avast! do you have installed?
Any other security application that could bring trouble (firewall, startup monitors, etc.)?

I've searched Google and the board for Aavmaker4.sys and don't find something that relevant, except it could be a worm/virus or part of an antivirus program
