automatic update doesn't work

hi,

everytime when avast tries to make an autoupdate, there is aconnection problem that the software can't connect to the server.

When I do the update manually it works.

I use windows xp sp2 and i have a proxy ( i didn't find a place to put in the proxy)

does anyone has a solution for this problem
