Password Check and Locking Problems

Hey all,

Purchased Avast premium for my Xperia z3 for the ability to lock my cellphone and take a picture when my pattern/pin lock has been entered incorrectly 3 times. So far i have enabled everything and have (of course) has either a pin or pattern lock enabled. when trying to trip the lock nothing happens....anyone give me some help?

For certain functions the phone needs to be rooted.
Have you already checked the manual ?
