Polonus is asking if avast protects users from malware and aggressive adware that are hidden within apps that are still available within the Google Play Store.
Hopefully someone here who knows the answer can reply. I don't want an antivirus that doesn't detect malware, and will be happy to switch to BitDefender is needed.

Those -  aggressive adware apps - are being detected by Avast as Android:Agent-HAK [Trj]
