I usually run a full system scan in Avast on my Mac about once a month. Normally this will find lots of Windows based malware that I receive in spam and can safely ignore and delete. This past month was a bit different, Avast had appeared to scan my Time Capsule that contains my Time Machine backups and found some unusual items which were placed in to quarantine aka the virus chest.

The directories are like:

/Volumes/Data/Mac_Name.sparsebundle/bands/49b3

Some examples of what were found in last scan within the Time Machine backups:

ASP:Small-F [Trj]
Perl:ShellCode-A [Expl]
JS:Iframe-FB [Trj]
PHP:Small-I [Expl]
JS:ShellCode-MW [Trj]

I can't really see the original location or file name of these items like you can when something is found in your email client.

Has anyone else detected items like this in a scan lately or have any input on the scope of these detections?
