Anyone heard of Bug Doctor. Is it any good or is it addidng to you troubles?

It simply offers to scan for free. The programs sells for almost $40.00

Wow, I've just visited the pcbugdoctor.com site and it doesn't fill me full of confidence, it looks amateurish (probably an affiliate site) and there is a total lack of information about the product. The FAQ redirects to another, more professional looking site.

Hello DavidR,

That is why I asked. Better get answers from people that have used the program. I for one use System Safety Monitor and appreciate this program very much. I did a review here of Doc Scrubber 1.0, and heard that people really think it is worth using.
So we help each other out. Insofar we can make an informed decision as to  the usefulness of a program or the fact that we are well adviced to leave it alone or even that it is considered to be a rogue program.

I have just downloaded SSM, I haven't installed it yet, after my next disk image backup to make it easy to revert to my usual image.
