Why does it continue to complain I have a very old farbar version when I am using the July 27, 2016 version?

Added    : Detections in the FRST and Addition log files
Changes    : Added the option for custom header/footer in fixlist.txt
Changes    : Detection for non existing files in Addition.txt
Changes  : Minor text change if Farbar hasn't got the same date as the date that is run.

         This reduces the size of the log files and speed up the process (a bit).

I'm currently working on a new version.
Trying to get a higher detection with smaller databases.
At least in theory this should speed up the scanning process (a bit).
Ofcourse it will depend on the system of the user if the increased speed is noticeable or not.

11,4c and dry but very cloudy.

Looks like I'm finished with reducing the size of detections for FRST.txt. (845 lines removed)
Now running tests with about 75 user provided log files to see if works as it should.
If no problem(s) detected, I'll start working on the Adition.txt detections.

Ok, a new update and not a good one.

The Windows creator update has broken several tools that I use (0xC0000124 error) including the editor that I am using.

The Windows creator update has broken several tools that I use (0xC0000124 error) including the editor that I am using.

For me the Creators update has totally prevented one system from accessing the internet.
As soon as I upgrade, the system has no internet access. I've already rolled it back twice. Now I'll wait for MS to come up with a fix.

I've always have said that system restore should not be trusted/is crap.
Unlike a drive image, it doesn't set everything back to how it was and certainly is of no help when there is a hardware problem.

As far as my tool...
I can change/program things in a text editor but that will take more time as there is no text editor that checks the commands/correct syntax and such.

I so far have been able to remove 233 entries from the database for Addition.txt.

Tests show (till now) that everything is still detected and no false/wrong things are in the fixlist.txt it creates.
So that is looking good.

Rolling back to the previous version works without problems. That includes the drivers.
