Sophos problem

I uninstalled Sophos today and tried to install Avast, but it keeps telling me I have Sophos installed when I don't. Any idea how to overcome this?

Thanks for that - tried it and it seems to have removed Sophos. Now to try Avast again...

Yes, Avast was fine after uninstalling Sophos and rebooting. But now I can't get into my webmail on Virgin Media. I get this message "Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to identity.virginmedia.com. The server rejected the handshake because the client downgraded to a lower TLS version than the server supports. (Error code: ssl_error_inappropriate_fallback_alert)

    The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
    Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem."
I've never seen this before installing Avast - is it something to do with that? If so, can you please recommend a solution?

I'm not a MAC user, but I guess it has to do with the certificate.

This is for Windows, but I suppose something simular also goes for MAC software.
You should import the avast certificate into the mail client.

As I said, I'm not a MAC user and those links are basically for Windows, but have a look anyway.
