I spent quite a while trying to get Google Voice working again to dial landline phones.
I searched help but to no avail.
Then I noticed Chrome is opening in Avast sandbox. I found I can right click Chrome program and "run outside sandbox" Then unblock plugins - the red x at the top right in Gmail, and I can dial again.
