« on: March 19, 2015, 08:12:06 PM »
Are streaming updates working ok? My last was at 6.07am GMT (just before I switched the machine off before leaving for work) ... it's been on for 90 mins this evening and still no updates.

Check the following:
Defs sub-folder with latest streaming sub-folder - C:\Program Files\AVAST Software\Avast\defs\15031900_stream and my last update has just come in 19:35, whilst compiling this post.

Or avastUI > Statistics > Component status - Updates received in last 24 hours - mine is showing 104.

Just restarted my machine to see if it made any difference. I got a new vps update (150319-1) in the process but still nothing streaming ... I guess only some users are affected.

Same here too. Must be server issues...

Remember the 24hr period will differ from time zone to time zone as that 24hr period is based on local time I believe.

But yours and -midnight's should be roughly 5 hrs different in the 24hr period as she is further East, that could account for the higher figure.

Erm ... "the last 24 hours" is the last 24 hours whichever time zone you're in.

Erm ... "the last 24 hours" is the last 24 hours whichever time zone you're in.

It is, but the release time is from Central European Time, so it is still relative - hence why I had 104 in the last 24 hr period and -midnight had 271.
