<snip quotes>

Thank you David.

But, I just checked again & here's the latest news from "Down Under, in Oz"...

1/. 15032400 on  25-3-2015 @ 12.58 AM = 101 Meg.
2/. 15032401 on  25-3-2015 @ 8.40 PM = 101 Meg.
3/. 15032500 on  26-3-2015 @ 12.43 AM = 101 Meg.

Darn large data bases. ;)

Mind you, they aren't slowing down the PC....Just curious as to why they were so large & if they self destructed.

Ta mucherly.

You're welcome.

Large yes, but not all had to be downloaded - they are a compilation of the previous VPS version and streaming updates - in essence an incremental update.

They shouldn't slow the system as:
1. they are unpacked - not in an archive that would require unpacking - this actually helps with performance.
2. the two older VPS versions will soon be culled by the avast housekeeping and they won't actually be in use, only the latest VPS version and any subsequent steaming updates would be in use.

Once more...
Many thanks, David.

My Acronis True Image does a similar incremental & full then chucks the old/er ones out.

Ta mucherly.

Stay safe.

381 streaming updates during the past 24 hours.

Fortunately for you, you are connecting to a streaming server that is actually delivering the updates.

I guess that uncalled for remark means you don't believe me?  Had I not received 646 I wouldn't have posted.  Wish now I had taken a screenshot.

I'm not Bob, but uncalled for remark is nothing more than the number coincided with the house number of somewhere he lived before.

As for "means you don't believe me?" you are certainly reading something that isn't there.

Yes I believe Bob was referring to the number of posts Midnight had when he posted. Nothing more I'm sure.

Guess I'm overly sensitive and took his comment to be an insult.

Look at the picture I posted and then re-read the post itself.
You certainly did read something into a very innocent Off Topic post.  :'(
