Common Malware Enumeration Initiative

Hi malware fighters,

Mitre announced a Common Malware Enumeration Initiative headed by US-CERT launched to provide a neutral shared identification method for malware outbreaks.
The identifier will be provided by an automated process for a given sample of a virus together with a much additional information as possible. The identifier in the format "CME-N" is an integer between 1 and 999 and is distributed amongst participants.
