@ SherriBabee
As Bod said you might want to change your avatar for another or resize. We try to keep avatars around 100 X 100 for those who don't have high resolution monitors.  Or use this resized one until you find one better suited for you, whilst this one is a little over 100 pix. tall it is much smaller and not so wide.

Is an easily extensible program, which allows access to the most varied resources
through the POP3 protocol. Mainly, it can be used to download mail from the most famous webmails,
but it could also be used as an aggregator for RSS feeds and much more.
This way it is possible to get all your messages in your favorite email client.

If the Show Desktop icon is deleted from Quick Launch,
the procedure below will recreate the file.

Open Notepad and enter the following text:

[Shell]
Command=2
IconFile=explorer.exe,3
[Taskbar]
Command=ToggleDesktop

Save the new file as Show Desktop.scf then drag and drop the icon
on the Quick Launch bar or whatever location you want the shortcut to appear.

Or, this will also work:

Click Start, Run and type the following command:
regsvr32 /n /i:U shell32
Use copy and paste where ever possible. It's more accurate.

You could also use the keyboard shortcut:
windows key + m This will show the desktop.
And to restore its: shift + windows key + m

You can also use:
Windows key + D
Which acts like a toggle (Show and/or Hide)

Enjoy :)

Boost Your Internet Speed - Free!

OpenDNS can identify and stop sites trying to phish (steal) your personal information or money.
The OpenDNS phishing protection works with all operating systems and browsers,
and complements any other security measures already in use,
such as a firewall and anti-virus software.

Enjoy the extra speed and protection. I know I am. :)

The welcome to OpenDNS image that Bob posted is an indication that you have set it up correctly, so I would assume that Bob is using it (as he has confirmed).

I changed my DNS server details to use this because if the phishing blacklist, etc. I can't see how they can claim that it speeds up your existing internet connection, when all it might reasonably do is speed up your DNS query. The DNS query (converting the domain name to an IP address) part of the connection is a very small fraction of the time to display a page, etc. so any improvement would be negligible.

It's the Safer and Smarter features that I like.
As David already mentioned, the speed portion is minuscule.
