Hi!

1. I have installed Small Office Administration in Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard SP1 and when I install Avast Endpoint Protection Plus (with avast_managed.exe of Avast SOA) says that my shields are deactivated because my subscription expired and I can't reactivate. My subscription is active for 2 years (14/03/2017). What I can do? (error-avast-server.jpg)
2. Also, my Avast SOA not identified others PC in the network with Avast Endpoint Protection Plus (with avast_managed.exe) in Windows 7 Ultimate SP1. (error-avast-cliente.jpg)

Sorry for my ... ¿English?
Thanks!! Best regards!

Try to ping / nslookup the server address in Avast UI > Settings > Troubleshooting > avast! Administration Console.

Does it resolve the address? Is the address correct?

Thanks! Now Avast SOA identifies PCs in the network. My PCs were not in the same domain that Server  :o

But now my question is: Avast SOA only manages or also protects my Windows Server? Because my Avast EPP (avast_managed.exe downloaded from Avast SOA > Administration > Config) says that my shields are deactivated and my subscription expired...

Thanks again!

The management console is just a management console - it does not protect the server.

If you have installed the client and it can't connect, please try the same procedure to check if don't have any issues with the networking.

Hi!

>nslookup to server address run correctly. The fail is in server because the license of client EPP (in server) not recognized.

Sorry. I didn't notice the product version earlier.

In that you will have to upgrade the license to at least EPS. If want Antispam and Firewall, you should upgrade to EPSP.

My fault!! Ok, thanks!
Avast Client for Server should be EPS or EPSP not EP or EPP, these last are for Windows NO Server, right?  :o
I got confused when purchasing with requirements of SOA, shit!

How I can upgrade my license EPP to EPS or EPSP? Do I have to pay a new license?

I would advise you to contact a reseller in your region as they can give you additional discount and possibly Support.

Otherwise send an email to sales@avast.com

Hi IvanRos:

As Avosec-UK said, is always better to buy licenses for business trough a reseller in your country. Cases like that happened to you does not occur if you follow this recommendation, since the reseller gives you the best buying tips before paying.

If you are in Spain, like it seems, we or one of our resellers can help you if you want.

Regards.
