Help with new sim phone number from stolen device
« on: March 26, 2015, 04:23:09 PM »
Hi everybody.

I need some help, my phone was stolen and a notification 'sim changed' was sent to me, but the problem is that I didn't receive the new sim phone number. Right now I'm logged at my.avast account and there's no option (at least I haven't found it) to know the news sim number.

I need the new number so I can call and maybe get back my device.

Sorry for my bad english it's not my language.

And sorry if I posted this at the wrong forum.

Thanks in advance.

You don't need to know the new number and it is very foolish to call it if you would know it.
It will only alert the thief or the one who illegally bought it.
What you need to do is gather the location information and such and go to the police with it.

@Diego
Eddy is probably right, you would alert the thief, so think twice. However, by using the web command Contact device - Call or Send SMS (from the stolen device to a number of yours) you would easily see the new number.
