I noticed my avast account was signed out for some reason, when i tried to sign back in it told me my device had been disconned and to sign back in, I did and now there are two of my computers signed in to it? Included a screenshot

PLEASE help me with this, I've been having a lot of issues with avast lately no one on this forum has helped with so far and this is just one more on the pile

Just remove the double device and reconnect it to your account.

And please don't make false statements.
You where/are getting help on this webboard.

ok after doing this several times, i managed to get back in, just the one device connected
What caused this to happen and how do I prevent it from happening again?

Well, it is often hard to tell what has caused something.
There where some problems with the server.
I just have to guess, but I would say that was the cause of it.
If everything is ok now, don't worry about it.
