change email address

I am retiring and have my avast account under my work email (as my login). How can I change this to my personal email?

- Verify it
- Set it as primary
- Delete the work email address

I went to MyAvast, clicked on name it upper right, the on Manage Emails.  I gave me a place to enter a new email.  I put in my home email and it said it is already in use.  But, I see no place to make it my primary or to delete the other one.

They wont reply to your request because they dont have a fix or want to deal with helping people merge accounts and preserve history, etc..
Other prior similar requests were left unanswered as well. 
I expect you have to delete this account that is attached to the undesired email and lose your history and your device's attachment to this account then log into your other one and add this device to it. 
(I have other devices attached to another email account that I'm trying to make the primary and running into the same thing.)
