Free home registration key temporarily disabled!

I was playing with my BIOS settings while overclocking my computer whenever my key ended up getting temporarily disabled upon entering Windows after a few reboots.  How might I reenabled the key?

Make sure time/date is correct.

The time was wrong on one of the times I rebooted but I have since changed it back to the correct time.

I assume that the registration key issue is now resolved?

If not reregister and you can get a new key avast! 4 Home Registration

Well went I meant was that I changed the time back but that was before the registration problems started.  Maybe the time change was the cause but either way my time is correct now but the key is bad.  Is my only option getting another key?
