Registration failure
« on: April 06, 2015, 08:42:20 PM »
Hi,

Downloaded free Avast AV a few days ago. Have tried a number of times to click on the green Register button.

Keep getting a weird response: "The online content is unavailable. Please check your internet connection and try again."
This despite the fact that I am clearly connected because I'm online right now!

What to do?

Thanks!
Debbie

Welcome to the forum. :)
It could be referring to the avast server itself. You have 30 days to register. Try again later or tomorrow. :)

Do you have any third party ad blocking or tracking protection active? this could possibly inhibit the register button from opening the registration screen.

Hi,

Many thanks.  :)

Discovered that there is an offline registration form available.  ;)
Have used that and am now registered.  ;D

Much appreciation for your help!
