That card is getting a little long in the tooth and if a game is complaining about drivers it may well be related to DirectX, but your card may not have the power for modern games.

You need at least Geforce 4 Ti to run that game properly or you'll get very low framerates...

Here are the specs for the game:

Minimum System Requirements
Windows ® XP/Me/2000/98 (NT and 95 NOT supported)
800 MHz Intel Pentium ® III
256 MB RAM
4x CD-ROM drive
2.2 GB free hard disk space
GeForce2 Class card with 32 MB VRAM
Direct X 8.1 compatible sound card
56K Internet connection

Recommended System Specifications
Windows ® XP/Me/2000/98 (NT and 95 NOT supported)
1.5 Ghz Intel Pentium ® III
512 MB RAM
8x CD-ROM drive
2.2 GB free hard disk space
GeForce4 Class card with 64MB VRAM
Direct X 8.1 compatible sound card
Broadband Internet Connection

Like Darth said it recommends a GF4. A GF4 MX is really a glorified GF2. Now with that being said I suggest turning the color depth down to 16-bit the resolution down to 800x600 and disabling and features like dynamic lighting or shadows. Use Optimize XP Guide to improve Windows performance if you have XP. Before you update you Video Card drivers you need to make sure you have the latest Chipset Drivers, you can get more info at Driver XP. While I highly recommend Avast try disabling it or any other AV you have running while in game.
