I have plenty of free space and no files in the Chest.

I just wonder if it exceeds the max file size to send to the chest, given that the detection was within an installation file, does it exceed the 16MB max file size to send to the chest ?

If that's the case, then there should be a warning message to let you know.

There used to be a nondescript/confusing error message before about insufficient space, most thought it related to space on the hard drive and not the default sizes for the chest.

FWIW, I believe if you set the limit in the Chest to "0" it will accommodate larger files. :)

Yes the '0 means no limit' as mentioned in the virus chest settings. But that is for the virus chest and I don't think it would apply in the same way to file sizes.

I feel it would be better with a reasonable limited size rather than unlimited. It isn't that long ago that the file size limit was 4MB and a lot failed that limit, with 16MB there should be considerably less failing because of size.

If that's the case, it should just say "File deleted because of file size" in the detection popup. So you don't wonder why the hell it was deleted even though primary action is QUARANTINE.
