So today Avast told me that I needed to update so I open the UI and start updating and while I'm waiting I go to the firewall tab and see that it says that it's turned off. My heart sank as this means that I've been surfing for years without a firewall, but when I go online to my account it says that the firewall is running on my profile? I don't understand what's going on here, is it actually working and it just says it's off on the program? Or is it actually off and the website profile just thinks it's on? Everytime I try to turn it on in the program it just says "Unable to start firewall!" with no details or error messages.
