I am wondering if Avast Free is using any cloud technology like some of the other AVs, eg BitDefender and Panda.

Is there any advantages/disadvantages with these AV that use a cloud approach?  I notice that they score well in the AV tests and Panda is suppose to be very light.

I appreciate any input.

VPS contain copy of previous released stream updates .... this have been posted in one of your previous posts, do you read them
