web shield setting
« on: April 18, 2015, 03:35:08 AM »
One of the options in the web shield settings is:  Scan traffic from well known browser processes only

I don't understand this nor whether I should enable it.

Please explain.

Thanks

When checked, Web Shield will scan only traffic of known browser processes (such as firefox.exe, for example).
If unchecked, Web Shield will scan traffic of all programs - which could be a little more secure, but it can cause compatibility problems with some programs using http-like (but possibly not exacly http) communication.

I suggest to not put a checkmark in front of that option, unless you are experiencing problems.
