185.22.60.101 malware issue
« on: April 18, 2015, 10:17:08 PM »
Hi,

Last night while on my laptop I experienced this same issue with chrome malware relating to the IP address 185.22.60.101 as many others here on the forum are, I didn't think much of it last night, just assume it's a false positive due to new virus database versions or something, but then the same thing happened when I arrived home and booted up my desktop. I have followed the log assistance tutorial and my logs are attached below, if anyone can provide assistance it would be greatly appreciated. Additional attachments in next post, due to only 4 post limit.

Avast Pro, Malwarebytes premium used for scans attached.

If you have AdGuard installed, delete/remove it and see if the problem is still there.

I had already done that after reading other posts, issue had gone away but it was inconsistent to begin with, sometimes launching chrome was proc the detection, other times it would not. Mostly just curious to see if anything underhanded remains since both avast and malwarebytes have not detected anything.
