Avast Console lost password

Hi

Sorry if this has been covered before, but I am new to this forum.

I have forgotten the console password and when I raised this as an issue via the Avast helpdesk, they suggested uninstalling/installing the programme. If I try to do this, it will not allow me without the password!! I am therefore stuck.

Anyone help please?

Running Windows 7 64 bit.
