Is avast plain to have possibility to connect to the phone with the wifi and not only by data carrier?

I use Anti-Theft on tablet without sim (wi-fi only). And it works.

Do you mean Anti-Theft uses sim if it is present and don't use wi-fi at all?
If so it would be good to make priority settings.

It do not work on my phone, and I have this message (sorry in french) :
It say anti-theft do'nt work without datas
