Yesterday I made a clean isntallation of windows 8.1 and I installed avast free and I have following problems. The startup of my Chrome ist very slow and also the browsing is slow. I made a disk defragmentation, cleaned my pc with ccleaner, disabled unnecessary startup programs with autoruns, I removed all extension from Chrome but nothing worked at the end I unnistalled Avast and turned of Windows defender a everything worked fine. Why avast causes slowdowns?
