Scan for PUPs
« on: May 06, 2015, 04:47:08 PM »
I have "Scan for potentially unwanted programs (PUPs)" checked in the business.avast.com portal, but in my client's settings it is not checked.

What's going on here?

Thanks,

Ben

Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place.  On the general tab of the client's settings, the "Scan for PUPs" keeps unchecking itself.  I don't see anywhere in the business.avast.com portal to set that setting.

HI,

In the portal, select network>settings>default(or th etemplate you are using)>advanced this should now give you a gear icon to the right of each of the components. Select the gear icon to open the advanced settings for each shield and there is a PUP tab.
Also, You can create task>scan device>custom scan>advanced settings and under the sensitivity tab you can set the scan to Scan for potentially unwanted programs (PUPs)

We are working on adding scheduled task as well.

Let me know if you have further questions.

Thanks!

Jeff
